Dr. Rohit Bhuriya graduated with distinction from B. J. Medical College, India. He completed his internship, residency in Internal Medicine and General Cardiology fellowship at The Chicago Medical School. While completing his training at The Chicago Medical School, he was a recipient of Intern of the Year Award and Outstanding Graduating Resident of the Year Award. He completed his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Bhuriya is a board certified General and Interventional Cardiologist. Dr. Bhuriya has practiced medicine since 2000. He has been practicing general and interventional cardiology in Pearland/Houston area since 2013. His clinical interests include general cardiology, echocardiogram, stress test, Holter and event monitoring, coronary angiography, angioplasty, and coronary stenting, peripheral angiography, angioplasty and stenting, valvular heart disease, atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmia management. Dr. Bhuriya offers a complete spectrum of cardiac care to patients 18 years and older. His top priority is his patients. He takes the time needed to explain their conditions, treatments and to answers questions. He also speaks Hindi and Gujarati. His staff is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Bhuriya is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Texas Medical Association, and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
