• Eduardo and Maria

  Ed is the proud on-site owner of The Goddard School of Shadow Creek Ranch since 2018. Along with his wife, Maria, he’s committed to offering a loving and educational environment that sparks curiosity and wonder. They have experienced Goddard as parents – their 3 school aged children (5, 9 and 11) are graduates of the school. Eduardo holds a master’s degree in international business law from Queen Mary University of London. He led a law firm for over a decade and gained experience in education by working as a college professor and volunteering in an NGO that taught democratic values to small children. He has found his true passion in owning a preschool. María has a degree in communications and a master’s in media management. She traveled across continents as a writer until becoming a mother. Their dedication is more than a profession; it’s a mission to shape the future by giving children the best possible start.

• LaShayla

  Ms. Shay is a highly experienced early childhood director with over 20 years in the field and has been a dedicated member of The Goddard School of Shadow Creek Ranch (Pearland) family for over a decade. Her passion for children began in her youth, helping her mother with foster kids—a rewarding experience that ignited her lifelong career. You can often find her actively involved in the school's daily life, ensuring every child feels loved and supported. Her unwavering priority is creating a positive and enriching environment for all students. Ms. Shay holds a Child Development Associate Degree and a Director Certification. She is committed to ongoing professional development through Goddard Systems University and is certified in both CPR and First Aid. Her extensive experience and continuous learning ensure our school provides the highest quality early childhood education. Outside of her professional life, Ms. Shay is a proud mom to a 12-year-old son.

• Maryel

  Mrs. Maryel is a passionate early childhood educator and the dedicated Co-Director of The Goddard School of Pearland (Shadow Creek Ranch). With over 17 years of experience, she's been a valued part of our school since 2017, progressing from a toddler teacher to a leadership role. Her commitment to our program is evident in her hands-on journey. Her leadership philosophy centers on making learning fun and engaging for every child. A certified professional, Maryel has completed extensive training through Goddard Systems University and holds certifications in CPR and First Aid, ensuring the safety and trust families expect from a quality preschool and daycare.

• Alejandra

  Mrs. Ale is the lead Pre-K teacher and has been a part of the Goddard family since 2012. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) and is eager to share all of her knowledge with her class! She is married and the proud mother of a son and daughter. Her philosophy is to believe that each child has unique abilities and it is our duty to build on them. Mrs. Ale continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the state and federal authorities.

• Lourdes

  Ms Miranda is the lead teacher of our Get Set A classroom at The Goddard School of Shadow Creek Ranch (Pearland). She has over 19 years of experience in early childhood education and she has worked proudly in our preschool for over 13 years. Throughout this time she has participated in several trainings that have allowed her to understand the development of children of this age. She’s originally from Mexico but has lived in Houston for 22 years. As a Mexico native she shares her extensive spanish vocabulary with the children. Mrs. Miranda continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the state and federal authorities.

• Qiana

  Mrs. KeKe has worked in the Early Childhood Education field since 1999. She's been in the Goddard Family since 2009 and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) degree. "Working with toddlers gives me the chance to see how much they change during this stage where they learn to talk, share, play with others and work on potty training", she says. Mrs. Keke continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the state and federal authorities.

• Shaklie

  With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Shaklie has been in The Goddard School of Shadow Creek Ranch since 2015. Her teaching philosophy is that by embracing each child's uniqueness one can show them the world in a positive way. Mrs. Shaklie continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the state and federal authorities.
